Spark Infrastructure is a leading Australian investor in energy infrastructure, focused on owning high-quality electricity network businesses that deliver critical services to communities and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Our Ownership
Spark Infrastructure is privately owned by Pika HoldCo Pty Ltd, which is an entity owned by funds and/or investment vehicles managed and/or advised by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. and/or its affiliates, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board and Public Sector Pension Investment Board.
Previously, Spark Infrastructure was publicly owned and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, before transitioning to private ownership in December 2021.
Our Portfolio
Spark Infrastructure holds interests in:

49% of SA Power Networks, the sole operator of South Australia’s electricity distribution network, supplying over 900,000 residential and commercial customers across the State,

49% of CitiPower and Powercor (together known as Victoria Power Networks), distributing electricity to over 1.2 million customers in Melbourne and western Victoria, and
-
15% of Transgrid, the largest high-voltage electricity transmission network in the National Electricity Market, connecting generators, distributors and major users in NSW and the ACT.
We focus on long-term, sustainable investment in energy infrastructure, supporting the reliable operation of electricity networks while contributing to the nation's transition to cleaner energy.
